Tes Safeguarding Awareness Week 2026

Safeguarding Awareness Week, 18–22 May 2026

Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing best practice from school leaders and safeguarding experts, alongside practical advice, free classroom resources and the launch of our 2026 Safeguarding Report.

Our annual event is dedicated to helping schools create safer environments and achieve better outcomes for their students. This year, the focus is on moving beyond compliance towards culture, strengthening whole-school approaches to safeguarding, with online safety continuing to play a key role.

To help you start the conversation in your school, we’ve created and collected a range of free resources, including interactive worksheets, display posters and discussion‑based activities.
